I DID IT! The scale went down, it was amazing! Now, I realize that the scale going down by one little pound isn't something that would normally cause me to jump up and down in excitement, but seriously- it was two weeks of zero progress, with me eating healthily and exercising, with nothing to show for it. So to see that scale say 207 was freaking amazing. And then, just to be sure, I checked again two days later- and it hadn't gone up! ROCK!

This also means that I've lost 20 pounds since starting this back on New Years Day. I've gone down a pant size, a belt size, and a cup size, and I just feel a lot better. I bought size 14 jeans, for the first time in like, 5 years. And now, since I've been doing so fairly regularly for a few months now, going to the gym is actually kinda fun. Like, I'm not jumping for joy as I head down to the gym, but it is something I look forward to. How weird is that? I like going to the gym, getting on the one elliptical that isn't somehow broken, and attempting to read my assignments while ESPN blares on the televisions with no remotes. And I like that? Yeah, yeah I do! Crazy!

Anyhow, one goal that I need to work on is drinking less. Not because I'm getting drunk every night, or anything like that. Just that alcohol is completely empty calories. I don't *eat* my full allotment of daily calories, because I would be crazy full. But drinking them is still ingesting calories. So I'm going to cut down a bit, see if that helps me at all.

And that's it!
