I've stalled out a bit on the weight loss thing- hit the plateau that I know is really common in weight loss efforts. Doesn't make it any less frustrating. I just need to stay determined and focused on eating right and getting exercise. Still, it is frustrating to keep NOT seeing the scale go below 208. But still- I've lost 19 pounds since New Years, which is nothing to sneeze at. I just wish it would keep going down instead of remaining stubbornly at 208/209. Sigh.
The elliptical is my new favorite, I swear. I get on there for half an hour, do some reading while I work out, and finish up covered in sweat and feeling awesome. But honestly, it is a bit gross how sweaty I get doing the elliptical. But I guess it means I'm working hard!
Officially took measurements today, which are below (in inches):
Bust: 45
Waist: 38
Hips: 44
Thigh: 25
Upper Arm: 13
Hopefully I will break through this plateau and continue getting into shape, in which case I'll try to most measurements once a month or so. I would especially like to see that bust measurement go down, I'd like to have smaller boobs again. Sigh.
My friend Laura and I are starting hot yoga soon, I am excited! I think I'll ask if she minds waiting until after graduation, just so I can really focus on it and not be worried about missing out on study time. But it should be fun!
