You have to go into your settings and link your Dreamwidth account to your LJ account. It was fairly simple, but it was also 2 years ago, so I don't quite remember the exact steps. But basically, once you link the journals, you can click "crosspost" at the bottom of a new entry, and have it post to both sites.
